“Netflix series, from Banijay UK’s Kudos, is billed as an epic story inspired by The Guinness family, a European dynasty made famous by the drink they brew. Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story reimagines the period immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.

The series was unveiled back in March as the latest series from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

“Boiling Point,” is a four-part BBC series that follows on from the award-winning film of the same name.

Mounia has directed the second half of the show and Phil Barantini, the show creator and director of the film has directed the first half.

The one shot film followed head chef Andy (Stephen Graham), who wrangles his team on the busiest day of the year. The series picks up six months on from where the film left off and sees sous chef Carly (Vinette Robinson) as head chef at her own restaurant, with many of Andy’s original team alongside her. As the pressure mounts to keep the restaurant full, Carly begins to feel the magnitude of responsibility that comes with running her own place.

Costa Brava Lebanon is a feature film in post production.

Synopsis: The free-spirited Badri family have escaped the toxic pollution of Beirut by seeking refuge in the utopic self sustainable mountain home they have built. But unexpectedly, a garbage landfill is built outside their fence, bringing the trash and corruption of a whole country to their doorstep. As the trash rises, so do tensions between leaving or resisting, threatening their idyllic home and family unity.

The project was also selected to participate in the Torino Film Lab where it was mentored by Cristian Mungiu and won the production grant at the pitch event. The project also won the CNC development award at the 71st Cannes Film Festival, the New Century Award development award at the Gouna Film Festival and the Malmo development grant.
